The Scary Hail Storm In Buraida Today Has Injured Dozens And Caused Unpleasant Damage

At least 665 new tweets are being added to the Twitter hashtag بريده_الان every minute due to residents’ reporting of the current weather situation. The capital of Qassim region was experiencing heavy thunderstorms, heavy hail falls damaging vehicles and even hurting civilians. 

It all started from midnight today (April 26)

When people started tweeting the intense weather, sand and hailstorms that took place all at the same time. 

While the second storm started again this afternoon (between 1-2.30p.m.)

A plane on the way to Qassim had to return to Riyadh upon seeing the weather conditions

Passengers in this footage can be heard panicking and praying.

The wind, rain and storms were completely mind-boggling

Residents were asked to be careful and remain indoors

Even this large truck tipped to the side due to the heavy winds…

The significant damage the weather has caused can’t be unseen

But as always, Saudis strive to see the light after every dark tunnel

The dark tunnel, in this case, being the horrible, scary storms earlier. This Tweep took a recording of an area in Buraida, comparing it now to Russia due to the snow.

The aftermath of the storms show it’s definitely cleared
