The Third Jeddah Book Fair Has Finally Started And Prince Khaled Was There To Inaugurate It

The third installation of the Jeddah International Book Fair, held annually, was inaugurated on Wednesday and the emir of Makkah, Prince Khaled Al- Faisal, and adviser to King Salman was in attendance.

Jeddah’s Book Fair is an annual exhibition that brings together a community of like-minded people who have one favorite thing in common, clearly, books.

Emir of Makkah honoured the Saudi poet Ibrahim Khafaji, who wrote the national anthem

…who passed away recently at 93.

Other poets and and prominent writers were also in the event, the likes of Ahmed Al- Dhbaib, Khaled Al- Youssuf and Yahya Bin Junaid, according to Saudi Gazette.

The Book Fair is a 10-day event that’s open for visitors from Thursday

Opening hour will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday.
