The Weather In The Kingdom Will Get WORSE In Some Provinces, Authorities Warn

Authorities in the Kingdom are issuing warnings to the residents in the country about bad weather conditions to hit several provinces. 

Residents are warned against high winds and low visibility due to rising dust and sandstorms. 

Many cities have already experienced sandstorms on Thursday causing many road and air transports to be disrupted. 

There has also been several accidents in Jeddah due to the weather conditions.

Several cities are expected to experience the adverse weather

Al Majma’ah, Al Kharj, Shaqra, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Al-Qassim, Ha’il, and Riyadh are expected to experience dust and strong winds. 

Najran’s Civil Defense is also warning the people in the Kingdom that high wind and lots of dust will result in poor visibility in the province. 

In Makkah, the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection said that rain is likely to fall Saturday accompanied by hail. 

People are advised not to stop in the middle of roads, to drive carefully and to abide by medical instructions if they have breathing or respiratory problems.
