​This Is How Much The Average Salary In Saudi Arabia Is

It has increased considerably since the last quarter.

According to the Saudi Gazette, the average monthly salary of Saudis stands at SAR 10,089 during 2018’s first quarter as per a report by the country’s General Authority of Statistics (GaStat).

This marks a two percent increase since the previous quarter as the average salary during the previous quarter was pegged at SAR 9,939.

The first quarter salary survey makes mentions of a disparity between the pay scales of Saudi men and women. The average salary for Saudi men was SAR 10,289 while their female counter parts were paid an average of SAR 9,230 amounting to SAR 1,059 difference in pay.

The report also makes mentions of other interesting finds particularly that of the average salary of expats, which as per the report stood at SAR 3,768.

GaStat has said that Saudis working in the private sector were paid an average salary of SAR 7,197 while non-Saudis were paid SAR 3,899.
