For the very first time in Saudi history, new traffic signs on the roads now address both men and women. The large billboards stunned a lot of drivers and certainly made rounds on Twitter, with others sharing photos of the signs with words of pride towards the Kingdom and its reforms.

The sign reads, ‘My brother driver, my sister driver, abiding by traffic regulations protects your own life and the lives of others from danger.’

A few months back driving schools for women were launched, now these signs and in just one month women will soon be able to drive the streets of Saudi Arabia. A new reform, King Salman announced in September 2017, which took the world by storm.
