Tragedy Strikes After The Death And Injuries Of A Saudi Family After Their Car Hit A Drifting Mine
A Saudi family’s car crashed into a landmine in Jazan leaving their ten-year-old child deceased and two others wounded. A woman, twenty-nine-years-old, managed to escape with a few injuries from the incident.
According to Saudi Gazette, the family car hit into a mine that was swept into the Saudi territory from Yemen due to the recent heavy rains.
The family was taken to a hospital following a report received by the Civil Defense
Jazan’s Civil Defense announced that the family were moved to a hospital where the cause of the accidents were discovered. On Friday, the Civil Defense team had received a report of an explosion and they managed to head to the province of Arda quickly.
The explosion took place after the family car ran over the landmine that triggered it.
