UPDATE:
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived to London yesterday and met with Queen Elizabeth at the Buckingham Palace where they had a grand feast at lunch. Following this, he also met with Prince Charles and Prime Minister Theresa May.
He is on a foreign tour to meet with officials on behalf of the Kingdom. His first stop was a three-day-trip to Cairo, now London and later on in the month to the U.S. to meet with President Donald Trump.
According to Saudi Gazette, the UK and Saudi want to build £65 billion of trade and investment ties soon. In the meeting, they planned the mutual trade and investment target ‘which would include direct investment in Britain and new Saudi public procurement with British companies. This would be spread across sectors including finance, education, healthcare, renewable energy and defense,’ as told from May’s office.
The meeting agreed a landmark ambition for around £65 billion of mutual trade and investment opportunities over the coming years, including direct investment in the UK and new Saudi public procurement with UK companies
