UPDATE: The Official Age A Female Needs To Be To Drive In Saudi Has Been Revealed
In case you’ve been living with your head in the sand for the last week, you will have heard that a Royal Decree was issued in Saudi Arabia allowing females to drive by next year.
Not it’s been revealed that females can apply for a licence at the age of 18. This is the same age as men have to be in order to drive.
“Eighteen years is the age at which a person can obtain a driver’s license and drive a car in the kingdom.”
Interior Ministry spokesman Mansour al-Turki told al-Arabiya TV
