Riyadh’s upcoming massive metro train project is close to its first stage of completion.

A video showing a recent trial run on a test route has been circulating social media

The project will cost $22.5 billion to build. It is scheduled for a light opening later this year, and the full network is expected to be operational in 2021.

It will consist of six metro lines spanning a total length of 176 kilometers, with 85 stations.
