This ambitious plan includes 10 new water projects in Riyadh and several neighboring governorates. These upgrades will touch various parts of the city, from the neighborhoods of Al-Arid, Al-Yasmeen, and Al-Tuwaik to areas like Al-Kharj and Al-‘Aflaj. They’re even constructing five huge water tanks with a capacity of 6,000 cubic meters each, making sure the city has a reliable water supply for the future. 🚰🏗️
But that’s not all—there are also 10 sewage projects underway. These will improve the sewage systems in key areas of Riyadh, including neighborhoods like Al-Muqay, Al-Qirwan, and Al-Mahdiyah, as well as in surrounding governorates like Al-Qwai’iyah and Al-Kharj. The total investment in these sewage upgrades is over 414 million riyals. 🚿🔧
This push is part of the National Water Company’s broader strategy to enhance infrastructure and services, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. The company is focused on improving water distribution, tackling environmental issues, and ensuring better overall water management. With these projects, they’re working hard to support the kingdom’s growth and sustainability efforts.
So, whether you’re a Riyadh local or just passing through, expect to see some major upgrades in the city’s water and sewage systems soon! 🌟👷♂️
