Antony Joshua Regained His World Heavyweight Title In The Historical Re-match At Diriyah’s Clash On The Dunes
The British professional boxer, Antony Joshua, regained his world heavyweight title after beating the Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr. during their historical rematch at Diriyah fighting arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Joshua succeeded in reclaiming his WBA, IBF, and WBO titles, after losing them to his rival, Ruiz, in a resounding defeat six months ago in New York.

Crown Prince Attended the Historical Clash
Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman, attended to the Diriyah arena 1 hour before the fight between Ruiz and Joshua amid the audiences’ great welcoming.
Millions of boxing fans watched the match through the TV broadcasting addition to the attendance of 14 thousand spectators from more than 60 countries around the world.

Clash on The Dunes
Joshua has executed an excellent bout throughout the 12 rounds. He was in control during the first 2 rounds till Ruiz regained his balance and started to exchange punches till the 5th round. The 6th round had very thrilling moments that could end the 12 rounds’ fight earlier.
Both champions kept the bout exciting through the 7th and 8th rounds, where Ruiz was a step behind conquering Joshua. But Joshua regained his control on the 9th round and imposed control with successive punches to Ruiz.
The clash atmosphere went extremely thrilling and challenging among spectators before Joshua’s success to become the world heavyweight champion.
The Diriyah arena was on fire with the enthusiastic atmosphere starting from the preliminary battles that preceded the historic Diriyah match between Joshua and Ruiz at the World Boxing Championships.
