Avatar

India and Saudi Arabia have a great relationship and it seems to only be getting better.

Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has declared that the Indian Hajj quota be increased this year

The quote is to increase by 30,000 from 200,000 – making India the country sending in the second-highest number of pilgrims for Hajj after Indonesia.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman decided to raise the quota after a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G20 summit.

Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, India’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, has welcomed the crown prince’s decision.

Indian Hajj pilgrims will start visiting the Kingdom from July 4, 2019.
