Gigantic Artistic Masterpieces By Saudi Artists Stole All The Spotlight At The Al Ula Arts Festival

There’s a lot happening in AlUla these days and the latest AlUla Arts Festival featuring local artists showcase gigantic masterpieces

Art enthusiasts and tourists all gathered around AlUla for an Art Festival surrounded by breathtaking rock formations in the area. Craft shops, fragrant oils, abayas, traditional bags and jewelry were all showcased at the Al-Jadidah district of AlUla Old town.

 The festival first opened doors to the public on February 13 with contemporary outdoor sculptures of magnified scales from local artists like Manal Al-Dowayan, Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, Shadia Alem, Lulwa Al-Homoud and many more

The festival is the second edition of Desert X AlUla, which is following “Sarab” theme. This year’s exhibition explores ideas of oasis and mirage, both concepts familiar to the deserts and history of the Kingdom.
