International Flights To Saudi Will Now Verify Immunization Status Before Allowing Expats Onboard
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has directed all airlines, including private airlines, operating in the Kingdom’s airports to check the immunization status of all expats before they board their flight heading into the Kingdom.
The circular according to the Arab News, stipulates two ways to verify the eligibility for expatriate travelers.
- Show immunization status on the “Tawakkalna” application
- Submit a report proving immunization in the Kingdom through the “Qudoom” platform.
GACA has also specified that violators will face legal actions.
