Heavy Rains Hit Parts Of Taif And Trapped Several People In A Valley
Parts of Taif were hit by heavy rains this weekend that also resulted if flash floods in some parts of the governorate.
A valley in Taif that is a popular picnic spot was also flooded when it hit by torrential rains
Around 20 members of the two families, mostly children, were on a picnic in the valley at the time. Rescue teams, thankfully, saved two families, who had been trapped by flash floods in a western Saudi region, media reported on Friday.
All have been reported to be in good health
Civil defence has warned people in the governorate to avoid flood-hit valleys and puddles.
