Rain and thunderstorms are expected to hit several regions across Saudi Arabia in the next few days, according to The Saudi General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection.
Before you get excited about the cooler weather or playing out in the rain, you should know that the authority also issued a statement on Sunday warning people in advance that the moderate to heavy rains along with thunderstorms and dust storms may lead to torrential flows.

In Makkah, the cities of Taif, Mysan, Beni Saad and other areas in the region- the weather will likely remain as such until 10 p.m. (local time).
Forecasts also say that rainy thunderstorms will hit the region of Al Baha, to which dusty winds might occur. Al-Baha region, Biljurashi and Al-Mekhwa will also see some rainy weather until 9pm, reports Arab News.
In Asir, moderate to heavy rain thunderstorms will last until 10 p.m.

Residents of areas mentioned above are being urged by the authority not to get themselves into valleys or rainwater ponds.
