Drawing from its long artistic legacy, Jeddah is turning into the unofficial art capital of the region. Coming to the latest in the world of arts here, there\u2019s the Hayy Jameel Arts complex opening next week and if you can\u2019t wait until then there\u2019s an incredible international art exhibition being hosted at the Khuzam Palace \u2013 this is the oldest surviving palace in Jeddah. It was built by King Abdulaziz back in 1932. The historical oil concession between Saudi Arabia and the Standard Oil Company of California was signed here back in 1933.
\nThe palace is hardly ever open for tourists and now is the one time you can visit courtesy of this art exhibition.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is called BIENALSUR and this year\u2019s theme is \u2018Echoes: A World between the analogue and the virtual\u2019.<\/h2>\n

The #Jeddah<\/a> edition of #BIENALSUR2021<\/a> themed \u2018Echoes: A World between the analogue and the virtual\u2019 is now open at the historic site of Qasr Khuzam, hosting 20 artists from 11 countries.<\/p>\n
