Many had questions about the visa processes in case they\u2019d like to get onto the mainland and explore the sights. Well, we now have all the deets on it. Cruise passengers can apply for e-visas and the process is pretty straightforward.<\/p>\n<h2>The Kingdom&#8217;s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has tweeted the application process. However, they have not listed the nationalities that can apply for this.<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Launching the E-VISA electronically for those arriving on cruise trips. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bChNxTtNxG\">pic.twitter.com\/bChNxTtNxG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Foreign Ministry \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\udde6 (@KSAmofaEN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KSAmofaEN\/status\/1477699146559762435?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 2, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>In a nutshell, you&#8217;ll just have to log onto the ministry&#8217;s website and fill out a nautical transit visa application. You&#8217;ll have to enter details of your ticket and tour provider et all and you can then just sit back and wait for your visa. You can expect this to be really quick as e-visas, in general, are being granted in a jiffy here.<\/p>\n<p>This new visa comes a little over a month after Saudi Airlines <a href=\"https:\/\/lovin.co\/riyadh\/en\/latest\/saudia-signs-deal-with-cruise-company-to-bring-in-tens-of-thousands-of-european-holidaymakers-to-saudi-arabia\/\">announced<\/a> a deal with MSC Cruises and Cruise Saudi to transport 20,000 cruise travelers from Europe and North America to Jeddah.<\/p>\n<h2>Speaking of yachts and cruises, have you seen Jeddah\u2019s new ritzy marina?
