Saudi Citizens Can Now Travel To Singapore Visa-Free"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Come June 1, Saudis can just book a flight to Singapore on Google and head straight for the airport, as Singapore has just exempted Saudi citizens from entry visa requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>\nThe announcement was made by the Singaporean Embassy in Riyadh. It\u2019s still not clear how many days Saudi citizens will be allowed entry at a stretch.<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has issued the following statement:<\/p>\n<p>*IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SAUDI NATIONALS:*<\/p>\n<p>Saudi nationals with passports issued by the KSA will no longer need to apply for an entry visa to enter Singapore from 1 June 2023 (inclusive).<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Singapore Embassy in Riyadh (@SingaporeEmbKSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SingaporeEmbKSA\/status\/1651882140399812609?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nHowever, there&#8217;s a catch\u2014the embassy has announced on its Twitter handle that all those who have paid for their visa processing fees prior to the announcement will not be eligible for a refund.<\/p>\n<h2>This comes just weeks after another Asian country, Japan, started allowing Saudis to apply for tourist visas online.<\/h2>\n<p>As per the online portal Visa Index, the Saudi passport currently provides visa-free access to 81 countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Come June 1, Saudis can just book a flight to Singapore on Google and head straight for the airport, as Singapore has just exempted Saudi citizens from entry visa requirements.
