He explained, \u201cThe Hajj season is shifting gears due to climate changes starting in 2026. There won\u2019t be another summer Hajj for the next 17 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

He mentioned that from 2026 onwards, the Hajj will be in the spring for eight years straight, followed by eight years in the winter. \u201cSo, we\u2019re saying goodbye to summer Hajj for a good 16 years,\u201d he added, noting the extreme heat pilgrims face, often hitting 45-47 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mansour Al Mazroui, a member of the Shoura Council and a climate change researcher, confirmed these upcoming changes. He explained that after next year\u2019s summer Hajj, it\u2019ll switch to spring for eight years, then to winter. \u201cThe winter Hajj will run from Hijri year 1454 to 1461, followed by the fall Hajj from 1462 to 1469,\u201d he clarified.<\/p>\n
