The Esports World Cup wrapped up on Sunday with a big closing ceremony, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia\u2019s crown prince and prime minister, was there to join in the fun. Over eight weeks, the EWC brought together 1,500 athletes and more than 200 clubs, with a jaw-dropping $60 million prize pool up for grabs across 22 tournaments and 21 titles. The ceremony capped off a historic weekend in esports, which also included the 2024 Esports Awards and the 2024 New Global Sport Conference.<\/p>\n
