Exits at Islam’s second holiest site are now marked with distinct colors, making it easier for worshippers to find their way and return to their accommodations after prayers. This simple yet impactful change has been implemented by the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques, aiming to enhance the experience for the millions of faithful who visit each year.

A newly established Children’s Hospitality Centre in the mosque’s courtyard provides a safe and engaging space for children. Open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and managed by skilled specialists, the center offers cultural activities and entertainment, giving parents the chance to worship in peace.

In 2023 alone, over 280 million Muslims visited the mosque, home to the sacred Al Rawda Al Sherifa, where the tomb of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) is located.
