Two artworks displayed this year during the first-ever Noor Riyadh festival of art and light<\/a> have set Guinness world records.<\/p>\n

The festival included works by more than 60 artists from more than 20 countries ran from March until June<\/h2>\n

It featured a number of installations across the city as well as a series of events and two of them made world records.<\/p>\n

Beacon<\/em> by Polish artist Carolina Halatek, broke the record for the largest LED structure. The sculpture was on show at the King Abdul Aziz Historical Center in March and consisted of 272,160 LEDs.<\/p>\n

Star in Motion<\/em> by Belgian artist Koert Vermeulen, was suspended at a height of 256 meters on the Kingdom Center tower and has set the world record for the brightest suspended ornament.<\/p>\n
