Mohamed Salah has been named in Time’s magazine’s annual list of the world’s 100 most influential people in the world.<\/p>\n
The Egypt striker, 26 was also one of the US magazine’s six cover stars<\/h3>\n
The Liverpool forward used his interview to discuss women’s equality, particularly in his “culture and in the Middle East’.<\/p>\n
“We need to change the way we treat women in our culture,” he told Time.<\/em> <\/em>That has to be, it’s not optional.”<\/p>\n
Comedian and host of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver (also a lifelong Liverpool fan), wrote an article on Salah for the magazine.<\/p>\n
“Mo Salah is a better human being than he is a football player,” wrote Oliver. “And he’s one of the best football players in the world.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
