Saudi Arabia Is Launching A Cycling Tour On World Bicycle Day

Get your cycle out – the Saudi Cycling Federations all set to launch the first version of the 2021 cycling tour and it is taking place today!

The launch of the tour coincides with World Bicycle Day (June 3)

The event is being launched in cooperation with the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD in Riyadh and will kick off in the capital also. Several people have signed up for the tour and it is creating a major buzz.

The tour is in line with one of the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 which seeks to increase the number of people practicing sports in the Kingdom and to motivate the community to change their lifestyle that will help them maintain good health and reduce chronic diseases.

For those who are not already into cycling, it is a great way to get to know your city, keep yourself active, and do your part for the environment by not having to take the car out for the smallest of distances.
