Those In Possession Of Wild Animals Have Been Asked To Hand Them To Authorities

Last week, news broke that a Saudi man had died after an attack from a lion he had kept.

The incident took place in Riyadh

The man, whose name or age was not revealed, had sustained injuries as a result of the attack. Security agencies were called and they rushed to the scene, managing to disentangle the seriously injured man from the predator’s mouth.

The man, however, tragically passed away.

An online video purportedly shows the lion dead after the incident

The Saudi National Centre for Wildlife put out a statement asking owners of predatory animals to surrender these pets immediately.

 

In the past, the authorities have repeatedly warned against risks of rearing wild animals, saying violators risk penalties.
