The FIFA World Cup has brought the spotlight on many players, one such is Nigerian winger Ahmed Musa.

According to web portal Todayng, a top club from Saudi Arabia have offered £40 million for Ahmed Musa.

Though Nigeria didn’t make it to the knockout stages in the World Cup, Musa’s heroics during the group stage matches earned him recognition far and wide.

His two goals against Iceland that powered Nigeria to their win were what particularly made him a breakout star of the World Cup.

Musa currently plays for Leicester City and his agent, William D’Avila, was approached by the Saudi club’s officials says the report. He joined Leicester City in 2016 after the club shelled out some £16.6 million for the transfer. He still has two more years left of his four-year contract with Leicester City.
