The Confirmed Pilgrims For This Year’s Hajj Have Been Announced
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the names of the 60,000 pilgrims selected to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year, this weekend.
On Wednesday, registration for the Hajj ended after a 10-day period
The names of 60,000 selected domestic pilgrims were picked out of the 558,270 Muslims who have applied in the past 10 days.
Men account for 59 percent of the applicants while the rest are women.
And the registration for the second phase of internal pilgrims is also beginning

An electronic portal for booking and purchasing packages of this year’s downsized Haj pilgrimage has been launched
The Ministry of Haj and Umrah said that the portal will operate for 15 days and offers three designated packages.
The first starts SAR16,560 per pilgrim exclusive the value-added tax and the most affordable option starts at SR12,113 per pilgrim exclusive the VAT tax.
