King Salman Sponsors “Saudi Cup” The Most Expensive Cup In History
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the honorary president of the Equestrian Club, sponsored on Saturday the Saudi Cup race ceremony.
It was the most expensive and largest event in the history of the world’s horse races, and took place at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh.
The eighth iteration of the Saudi Cup was launched after the presence of King Salman.
The race ended with the victory of the American horse (Maximum Security). King Salman handed over the “Saudi Cup” to the first-place winners Gary, Mary West, and Colmar.
In addition, prizes were awarded to the horse trainer, Jason Servis, and the equestrian Louis Saez.
