Women’s football is evolving constantly and more and more women are getting the opportunity to play the sport. This is also happening for Saudi women and accelerated in 2019 with the creation of a Department of Women’s Football Development
The Saudi Al-Hilal Club is opening doors for women athletes by establishing a football academy
This is great news coming in a time when women are breaking all sorts of glass ceilings in Saudi Arabia and careers in sports are being encouraged.
