September 23rd marks Saudi Arabia’s national day and this year’s celebrations are unlike anything ever done before.

All of Saudi Arabia is taking part in all sorts of celebrations to mark the national spirit

The streets of Riyadh, for instance, are covered with the green of the Saudi national flag, which lines the capital’s main highways.

Activities around the city include performances by folk bands, an Arab falcons show, interactive workshops to teach children about Saudi heritage and culture, displays of classic cars, film screenings, food carts, fireworks, and airshows.
