A Jordanian National Has Just Won Best Friend Of The Year By Donating His KIDNEY To His Saudi Pal
A young Jordanian, Ahmed Al- Zabin, is being recognised by the media, Twitter and even the Saudi embassy in Amman for bravely donating his kidney to his Saudi friend. Al- Zabin’s loyal gesture to his friend Osama Al- Shaya is just an example of humanity’s growing existence, and especially the friendly ties between the two countries: Jordan and Saudi.
The Saudi Embassy of Jordan commemorated and thanked Ahmed for his amazing generosity
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Ahmed underwent the procedure to check his ability for transfer a kidney to Osama’s at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. It is a necessary procedure for someone to undergo tests to see if they’re eligible for the operation. Luckily for Osama, Ahmed’s results were positive and so the surgery was a go.

The surgery was a success
It took place last Tuesday in Riyadh and the donor Ahmed has left the hospital while Osama Al- Shaya remained to continue his treatment.
