A Missile Fired From Yemen Was Thankfully Stopped By The Saudi Royal Air Force On Saturday

Saudi’s Royal Air Force successfully intercepted a ballistic missile into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening, according to WAM. The missile was fired from the neighboring Yemeni territories. 

The missile was headed towards Khamis Mushait 

Colonel al-Maliki, Official Spokesman of the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, told Saudi Press Agency that the missile was headed towards the city of Khamis Mushait, but was thankfully intercepted and destroyed without any losses. 

Al-Maliki adds that this poses asa regional and international threat to security

Col. Al Maliki says that the control of these projectile weapons by terrorist groups, like the Houthi armed militia, is a threat to security. 

The coalition affirms that continued attacks and missiles in certain cities, prove to be an the biggest evidence of the non-stop smuggling of weapons into Yemen.
