The Saudi Ministry for Human Resources and Social Development is no restricting the outsourcing of customer care services through call centers to foreign countries.
Just like as in many other countries, many Saudi businesses outsource customer care services to countries with cheaper wages
As per the new directives, all such services offered remotely including phone calls, emails, online chats and social media interaction can no longer be outsourced.
The purpose of this measure is to create more employment opportunities at home for Saudis.
The ministry will also launch programs through its existing initiatives to provide training on customer care services.
