King Salman Has Announced The Increment In The Salaries Of A LOT Of Employees Across The Kingdom
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, has ordered an increment in payment to state employees.
A monthly payment of SAR 1,000 will be made to state employees over the next year
This will be in compensation for rising cost of living after there was a hike in domestic gas prices and the newly introduced VAT.
The king has also ordered the payment of SAR 5,000 to military personnel.
King Salman directed the state to bear the burden of VAT in some situations, including special health and education services as well as the first purchase of a house that is valued at up to SAR 850,000.
