Three Saudi Airports Have Made It To The List Of The Region’s Safest Airports Amidst The Pandemic
Three airports in the Kingdom have been listed as some of the safest airports in the Middle East amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The Safe Travel Barometer network is a comprehensive database of health and safety protocols amidst the pandemic
According to CNN, the investigation was based on the proactive measures taken by the two airports to improve the passenger experience by requiring passengers to wear face masks and disposable gloves, in addition to frequent cleansing operations of the terminal building, escalators, and common public spaces.
The three airports are:
- King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah took fourth place with a score of 4 out of 5
- King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh is at sixth place, with a score of 3.9 out of 5
- King Fahd International Airport in Dammam also has a very high score of 3.8 out of 5
