A man who works as a cleaner in Dammam has been honored for going out of the way to respect the Saudi flag.

He rushed to pick up a flag that had been swept away by the wind during heavy rains

A picture of the man saving the flag was shared on social media and people were really impressed with his devotion.

Dammam authorities met the man and awarded him for his actions.

Heavy rainfall took place across several places in the country last week and resulted in severe damage in some cities.
