Saudi Residents Shared Their Favorite Perfume In A Trending Twitter Hashtag And The Choices Are Pretty Interesting

Avatar

On Monday night, a Twitter hashtag about the preference of perfume trended. Naturally, a few minutes later and thousands of the Kingdom’s women and men shared their favorite brand(s) or scents.

The hashtag should come to no surprise since the majority of the Gulf, and its people are the biggest spenders per capita on luxury perfume in the world. According to an article by Elle, Emiratis and Saudis (including the rest of the GCC nations) purchase a new bottle every two months.

With that said, the Khaleeji culture is big on perfumery and the layering of scents, and we saw vigilant proof of that through this hashtag.
