King Salman Has Called President Trump And Condemned The Florida Attack
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, has offered condolence on a call to the US President Donald Trump following the horrific attack that took place in Florida, USA, on Friday.
The attack, that took place on a US naval base, was carried out by a Saudi student
Three Americans were killed during the attack. The king offered his sympathies to the families and friends of the victims and said he prays for the quick recovery of those injured during the attack.
King Salman said the culprit, a Saudi air force trainee, does not represent the Saudi people, “who have utmost respect for the American people.”
Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the US, Princess Reema bint Bandar, said her thoughts are with the families of those affected by the shooting.
As a daughter of a former U.S military trained pilot, this tragedy is especially painful. The Saudi people are united in their condemnation of this crime. We stand in solidarity with our American friends during these difficult times.
