When it was announced that the Saudi airpot is looking to hire 140 new staff in passport control, 107,000 women sent in their CVs. It is the first time that the Saudi General Directorate of Passports is hiring women to work in the passport control sections, according to a statement received by Arabian Business.

The job doesn’t only cater to checking passports for border-crossings, but also brings with it a military rank.
This news comes months after the ban on women driving was announced to be lifted, and allowing women into sports stadiums. Amongst many others, of course.
