BREAKING: A HUGE Fire Just Broke Out At A Power Station In Riyadh And Electricity Is Cut Off In Some Areas
A huge fire just broke out at a power plant in Riyadh as confirmed by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) on Monday. Video footage of the incident started appearing on social media, along with tweets of worry about electricity being cut off.
The SEC stressed that electricity services wouldn’t be affected and that civil defense and the electric company’s maintenance teams are handling things.
Fortunately, no injuries have yet to be reported.

Electricity is cut off in several parts of Riyadh
The fire that broke in the Al-Nafil district caused electricity to be cut off in a couple of areas in the city, however this is only temporary and is expected to gradually be restored.
Riyadh’s residents shared their worries via Twitter
Many of those who lived nearby could see the smoke from a distance away.
