Riyadh Might Be Getting A Brand New Airport

Riyadh just might get a new airport, in line with the tourism boom envisioned for the country, very soon.

The news of Riyadh’s possible new airport was reported by Bloomberg

According to the Bloomberg report, the new facility would serve as a base for a new airline the kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund is looking to launch.

The $430 billion fund said earlier this year it plans to invest in aviation.

The new airline would serve tourists and business travelers while Saudia will continue to focus on religious tourism.

And the new airline will be just in line with this vision of the tourism plans for Saudi Arabia

 

Although the news has not been officially confirmed and no further details have been shared, people are already expressing their enthusiasm
