Planning to visit the remaining AFC Asian Cup matches in Sharjah? You need to read this before!

The Security Committee of the Asian Cup for Sharjah matches has released a list of items that have been banned from bringing inside the stadium during the tournament and it includes sticks, bottles, cans, weapons and sharp materials, fireworks, lasers, perfumes, electronic and regular cigarettes.

The UAE police along with the Security Committee are committed to enforcing the conditions and regulations of FIFA and AFC rules, and making sure these banned items do not enter the Sharjah International Stadium.

The aim behind the move is to provide the highest standards of safety and security during this international tournament

Other banned items include the use of loudspeakers and horns (only allowed with official permission), batteries and cameras, as well as smoking, eating and drinking inside the stadium.

The Sharjah Police urges all fans to adhere to the rules and regulations.
