A Resident Gets Air-Lifted To Hospital After A Hiking Accident In Sharjah

Hiking or visiting the mountainous areas in the UAE can result in a wonderful experience but it’s important to be cautious. The National Search and Rescue Center uploaded a rescue mission that was conducted on February 13, 2022.

A Lebanese man fell and injured his leg while on a hike in Sharjah’s Wadi Al Helo

The Police in Kalba was alerted and together with the National Search and Rescue Center, they sent a helicopter to fly him to a Kalba Hospital of Lamara Sharjah

The officers reported his injuries were sustained while hiking the mountains of Wadi Al Helo, 28km southwest of Kalba.

The National Search and Rescue Centre brought a helicopter to quickly rush the man to the hospital.

Although the weather is improving and more people want to hike, it’s important that it be done with caution.
