I congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his appointment as President of the United Arab Emirates during my visit to pay condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa.

PM Johnson tweeted “I will be paying my respects to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan today, and offering my sincere condolences to the people of the United Arab Emirates. The deep ties which unite our countries will continue through our cooperation and friendship.”
A few hours later he published his congratulatory message to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on his presidency

General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and a number of Sheikhs.
