670 students graduated at the Spring 2023 graduation ceremony of the American University of Sharjah (AUS) on Saturday at University City Hall.
Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi was very excited to confer degrees at the 2023 Graduation since she became president of the American University of Sharjah
HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, has held the position of president of AUS for the past 25 years!
Sheikha Bodour congratulated the graduates as they received their diplomas and gave a very thought-provoking speech
To AUS’s 2023 graduates I say: be true to your identity, be kind, and dream big. Most of all, as the Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie put it: ‘Do not twist yourself into shapes to please others.’ Good luck, and remember you’ll always be part of the AUS family.
She tweeted.
Sheikha Bodour shared a few photos of the ceremony on her page and expressed how proud she felt of the achievements the graduates have made.
She was appointed President in January 2023.
