HH Sheikh Sultan Changes Housing Support Rule To Help A Cancer-Stricken Citizen
The Sharjah Housing Program grants are given to Emirati men and women and Emirati women married to non-Emiratis who meet the requirements for housing assistance. One of the requirements is that the parent(s) have 2 or more children.
An Emirati woman diagnosed with cancer was informed she does not qualify for housing support as she has one child.
HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah heard of this and changed the rule to accommodate her
This goes to show the kindness and compassion Sheikh Sultan has for his people and this change will completely transform this family’s life.
