A study found that a 4-day week showed some reallll significant improvements in students…

The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) studied 31,198 families of students and 7,000 teachers from 127 schools to report the following:

• AN 88% INCREASE IN QUALITY TIME WITH FAMILY

• A 78% INCREASE IN SOCIAL SKILLS AND INTERACTIONS AMONGST OTHER

• A 77% INCREASE IN ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

But as amazing as the results might look on paper, some people have mixed opinions – and here’s the tea ☕️

The social media post had Dubai and Sharjah residents debating whether a 5-day traditional week works better, or if the new 4-day week is, indeed, a SUCCESS!

Some parents love spending more quality time with their kids and some people just think it is too difficult to entertain children for 3 days straight, and with the price of school fees higher than ever – they want to make the most of the education time.

Soooo it seems that although the 4 day week is working for Sharjah, it might not work for Dubai peeps and their hectic schedules
