SEWA Has Restored Electricity After Parts Of Sharjah Had An Unexpected Power Cut
An unexpected power cut took place in parts of Sharjah leaving several residents pretty confused.
On Friday afternoon, certain parts of Sharjah experienced a power outage, but SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority) were able to restore it by around 6 pm the same evening
They also released an explanation for the strange occurrence.

The power outage occurred due to a technical malfunction in the gas plant near Al Saja’a
Authorities explained that as per the protocol of the gas plant, it shuts down in the case of technical malfunctions. This led to a power outage in the Emirate.
But soon the gas flow increased by 80%, which contributed to the complete restoration of electric current in the city.
