Sharjah Authorities Will Implement A 9AM-2:30PM Ramadan Work Shift For Government Employees

Sharjah-bound workers, your Ramadan working hours have changed!

Sharjah’s Department of Human Resources has announced new work timings during the holy month of Ramadan.

The emirate’s entities will now operate from 9am-2pm during the holy month which will last 29 or 30 days and is astronomically calculated to commence on the 2nd of April.

This announcement is in line with the UAE’s transition at the beginning of 2022, towards a shorter workweek. Which was followed by Sharjah’s 3-day weekend announcement, making Friday off as opposed to a half-day in neighbouring emirates.
